Halo is a science fiction military game, a subsidiary of Microsoft Studios. The first in the game series was “Halo: Combat Evolved” which was released on (November 27 2001) and the latest release is “Halo 5: Guardians” which was released on (October 27 2015). Halo series is among the best first-person shooters on games consoles. In 2014, Microsoft's has express the development Halo series to last at least 30 more years. At the Gamescom-2015 event, Microsoft announced a sequel to Ensemble's Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2, scheduled to launch in 2016. The Halo game fans can find books and comic books if the game is not enough.
GAMEPLAY
Halo graphics and combat features are improving in each game release over the years. The only part I don't like about the game is that, the movement speed of the aliens and players. It is just too fast. . Most of you might not even notice but after playing Mass Effect 3, I have to complain =) . Halo is very exciting game, you will love the game story and all the alien worlds. There are tons of weapons you can choose from. You can customize a lot of player appearance. Halo story will continue for many years to come and there will be tons of new features. And most likely the next Halo game will support
virtual reality headset. Yes!, any halo fan should be crazy about this. And just imagine what it would be like to walk or live around in Sims world (I know crazy right?!) I'm sure you all virtual reality fans are going nuts in your own ways. Odd thing to say but we humans like virtual worlds more then we like Earth :P / Fact is Fact.
HALO STORY
A very long time ago, a very powerful race called the ‘Forerunners’ struggled an alien parasite (organism) known as the ‘Flood’. The Flood had spread throughout the galaxy through an infestation of conscious life, invaded considerable of the Milky Way Galaxy. Humans were also affected and came into conflict with the Forerunners. Forerunners were exhausted by the war with the Flood. Forerunners explored all possible options and then considered a weapon, a last option to fight the Flood, a weapon called the Halo Array. When the Halo Array is activated, it would destroy all conscious (intelligent) life in the galaxy to end the Flood infestation, killing all infected life throughout the Milky Way Galaxy, after which samples of the lost life-forms would be reseeded. They delay for as long as possible for them, but Forerunners activated the halo rings and disappeared for thousands of years. Later in 26th century, humans have colonized many worlds, thanks to the development of faster-than-light travel by using the “slipspace”. Tensions got worse between the “inner Colonies” and the remote “Outer Colonies” that lead to civil war. The United Nations Space Command (UNSC) creates the best group of enhanced super-soldiers known as Spartans, to defeat the uprising secretly.
In the year 2525, human-colonized worlds come under attack by an alien race known as the Covenant. An alien species that worships the Forerunners as their gods. The Covenant leadership declares humanity an insult to their gods and begins a holy war of genocide. Covenant with superior technology and with great numbers had critical military advantages. The Spartans are too few in numbers compared to Covenant military forces, impossible to turn the tide of battle in humanity’s favor.
The Covenant arrive at the planet ‘Reach’ in the year 2552, the major stronghold of UNSC beyond Earth, and Covenant launches an invasion on the planet. The last Spartans and UNSC military are unable to stop the Covenant from bombarding the planet. An artificial intelligence known as Cortana, AI aboard the escaping UNSC ‘Pillar of Autumn’ (Spaceship), randomly selects coordinates that lead the Covenant ship to a Halo installation. The Covenant follow-ship, damaging it and its crew to a guerrilla war on the halo ring’s surface. The Covenant attacks accidentally release Flood (a parasite) trapped on the ring. To reverse the threat of Flood, the halo ring’s AI the caretaker “343 Guilty Spark”, helps the Spartan (John-117) also known as Master Chief in activating Halo ring in order to defeat Covenant forces. However, Cortana warns Master Chief that activating the Halo ring would also mean their own destruction as it would kill all conscious life throughout the galaxy. Master Chief and Cortana instead detonate ship’s engines, in order to destroy Halo to prevent the escape of the Flood.

They return to Earth with few survivors, warning of an upcoming Covenant attack on Earth. The Covenant are unaware of the destructive nature of the rings and attempt to fire another ring “installation 05”, to achieve their religious prediction and so they launch an attack on Earth. The unexpected shutdown of the installation activates a fail-safe procedure, instructing all the rings for firing from the Ark. The Covenant High Prophet of Truth and remaining loyalist Covenant uncover a portal to the Ark on Earth. A battle starts on Earth between human forces, the Covenant, and a Flood-infected army. Ultimately, the Covenant is resisted and flees through a slipspace portal and the Flood is purged from Earth, but resulted in the destruction of considerable Africa.
Arbiter, Elites, Chief, Johnson, Keyes and U.N.S.C. soldiers follow Truth through the portal, joined by 343 Guilty Spark, who helps the Chief as he has no purpose to achieve the destruction of his ringworld (Halo Ring). During the battle, Johnson is captured by Truth to activate the Halo rings. Keyes tries to interfere but is killed trying. The Arbiter and Master Chief and help by the Flood, kill the Covenant “prophet” of Truth and rescues Johnson. Master Chief discovers that the Ark is constructing a replacement for Guilty Spark’s Halo installation, Chief decides to fire the unstable Halo in order to destroy both the Ark and the Flood. Guilty Spark finds out about the plan and kills Johnson and tries to kill Master Chief but fails. Master Chief destroys Guilty Spark and activates the Halo. Master Chief and the Arbiter escape on the UNSC frigate ‘Forward unto Dawn’ (spaceship), but the slipspace portal closes with Master Chief's half trapped in space and the back half of ‘Forward unto Dawn’ floats in deep space. Cortana activates the distress beacon and the Chief goes into hibernation. Halo 4 story begins here:
